Currently employing 60+ full time permanent members of staff, over 200 labour-only subcontractors, and growing a database of over 250 subcontract partners across the UK, we are more than able to staff multiple projects. Our recruitment and selection procedures are encompassed within our ISO 9001 procedures and ensure anyone working for us, or on our behalf meet our high standards in terms of qualifications and training. We access funding through CITB to provide training and ensure labour-only individuals hold the relevant qualifications (NVQs/CSCS etc) whether this is in-house or through an external provider.
We meet the minimum levels of training and qualifications of staff at various levels of the business to ensure a compliant and quality driven service:

Our business model is focused on directly employed management, supervisory and RLO teams, maximising local employment through local subcontract partners and self-employed labour-only trades. On a typical £1m contract we envisage the generation of 20 employment opportunities including trades, RLOs, supervisors and administration staff for the duration of the scheme, many of whom are often retained upon completion of the contract. We have vast experience of training up local labour only installers and subcontract partners to achieve recognised EWI qualifications with over 50% of our labour only teams having received an NVQ Level 2 through the support of HBC with funding through CITB Constructionskills.
We provide pathways to work through work experience (paid/unpaid) and work trials. We also support local job clubs with work experience opportunities.
We currently employ 5 apprentices undertaking NVQs in plastering, joinery and general building. To date 100% of our apprentices completing their qualifications gained full time employment. We will also support any local Shared Apprentices Scheme to support displaced apprentices.
On a typical £1m contract we typically provide 1 apprentice/full time trainee opportunity or displaced apprentice through shared apprentice schemes. Per £1m turnover we will also offer 8 weeks work experience to support those looking to retrain, young people and attract apprentices.
