Hamilton crowned ‘Installer of the Year’ ahead of 25th anniversary
Hamilton (Building Contractors) Ltd picked up three impressive trophies at this year’s prestigious Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) Awards.
The Hamilton team were especially delighted to be named ‘Installer of the Year’ within weeks of the business celebrating its 25th birthday in December.
Managing Director, Robert Storton said: “It’s always a pleasure to claim such coveted industry awards, especially in partnership with some of our most trusted, long-standing suppliers. We were particularly thrilled to be named Installer of the Year.
“The INCA awards represent the finest operators in the industry, so the fact that Hamilton was judged the best of the best among such strong competition is really something to write home about.
“This win is testament to the fact that – even after a quarter of a century – we’re not content to sit back and relax, we’re still just as committed to quality and service as when the business was founded 25 years ago.
“The industry has changed a lot over the last 25 years and many companies have come and gone in that time. Not only is Hamilton stronger than ever, it has kept to the same values since day one.
“We will always work in a way that ensures our clients benefit from exceptional quality delivery, efficient operations and transparent communication.
“While the render, cladding and facade industry has (rightfully) evolved and become more stringent about safety, quality and compliance – it has succeeded in highlighting those hardworking companies, like Hamilton, that have always gone above and beyond on every project they undertake.
“On the occasion of Hamilton’s 25th anniversary, and having won three trophies at the INCA awards, I’d like to take the opportunity to say a well-deserved thank you to all our staff, clients, contractors and trusted supply partners.”
As well as ‘Installer of the Year’, Hamilton was also crowned winner in the Refurbishment – Insulation/Render Finish category and the Refurbishment Insulation/ Brick, Clay, Ceramic, Stone Finish category, and received a Highly Commended in the same category.
Hamilton won the Refurbishment – Insulation/Render Finish category for its work with The Casey Group on Fitzwarren Court, where K Systems helped deliver modernised aesthetics and improved thermal performance on one of Salford’s highest residential buildings.
Hamilton claimed the top spot in the Refurbishment Insulation/ Brick, Clay, Ceramic, Stone Finish for its work with Inco Contracts on Palmyra House in Warrington, where Aliva UK Ltd helped visually and thermally improve a 1960s concrete-framed tower block with planning conditions that made for a challenging finish. The building’s U-value was reduced from 1.2 to just 0.28W/m2k as a result of the work.
Robert added: “The INCA Awards event was a great success, and the standard of work that was showcased was exceptional. Congratulations to all the other winners and nominees of the evening.”
