Working alongside Axis Europe and L&Q, we continue to make strong progress on the ongoing external refurbishment works at Lewisham Park Towers.
As we move into June, works are approaching a major milestone, with 90% of external works now completed across all three buildings. With the debris netting now removed, attention has turned to detailed snagging and cleaning, starting from the top floors down.
Project Site Manager, Leonard Stoian said:
We’re pleased with how the project is shaping up, now that the debris netting has come down, we’re cracking on with snagging and final detailing, and it’s really rewarding to see the buildings come into full view. It’s a real team effort on-site to maintain the high-quality finish we started with.
The elevations are seeing great progress, with touch-ups, snags and mastic works already more than halfway complete. In parallel, the hoist sections at the top of each block (Level 18 – Roof) have been successfully removed, allowing scaffold removal to begin.
Quality assurance remains central to every stage of the project, with ongoing checks and inspections ensuring that all work meets the high standard Hamilton is known for.
We’re now well on the way to completing this large-scale external façade project, helping to enhance energy efficiency, safety and appearance for residents and the local community.
Keep an eye on our latest news page for final updates as we approach project completion later this year.
