Hackney in East London is fast becoming a cosmopolitan area that’s a global destination for arts, culture, and nightlife.
Property is at a premium in the borough and in January this year Vogue voted it one of the 15 coolest neighbourhoods in the world. It has won many awards as London’s most liveable boroughs.
We were tasked by Equans to install a new, modern finish to Fermain Court, which was built in stages between 1950 and 1996. The chosen system is the Wetherby Building Systems A2 rated system with 100mm Stone Wool Insulation with a silicone textured finish, which will not only offer solid support to render, superior fire resistance properties, excellent thermal performance and acoustic insulation without the need for fire stops, but it will also massively improve the look and feel of the building to match the urban vibe.
Led by Contracts Manager Dave Wylde and Site Manager Boris Valkov, the Hamilton team commenced works in 2021 and the huge project was finished in August 2023. As you can see – the results are stunning!
