Project update – Lovell Park, Leeds

Project update – Lovell Park, Leeds

Our teams have been working hard on a refurbishment project in Lovell Park, Leeds for main contractor Equans on behalf of client Leeds City Council.

Three, 17 storey residential tower blocks are being revitalised with a Wetherby Building Systems solution, but instead of working on the buildings consecutively we are renovating all three at the same time.

To add to this challenge, the blocks are all within 100 feet of each other, with very little compound space below.

The team at Equans have done a spectacular job in setting up the site, with cleverly designed storage for the EWI materials needed for the entire project allowing multiple trades to work alongside each other.

Hamilton is one of a select few contractors in the UK that can provide a 25-year insurance backed warranty from SWIGA (Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency) for all high-rise projects, which means we continually provide first class workmanship.

Regular site inspections by the insurance underwriters are being carried out at Lovell Park, so everyone has peace of mind that the work is being completed by competent companies using skilled operatives.

Hamilton teams working on this site are being led by Site Manager Matthew Storton and we would like to thank everyone involved for their input into this project.

Works commenced in February and will be complete in summer – keep up the good work!
