Working in partnership with Axis Europe and L&Q, the project focuses on enhancing the thermal efficiency and aesthetics of the Kemsley, Bredgar and Malling tower blocks. Alongside delivering improvements to the physical structures, the approach also ensures residents are kept informed and involved throughout the process, with Axis facilitating communication and engagement efforts.
Inspired by approaches promoted by organisations like Tpas, this partnership is ensuring residents feel valued and supported during the transformation.
Resident engagement has been central to the project, with clear and open communication led by Axis Europe. Dedicated channels for addressing queries, providing updates and sharing timelines have helped minimise disruption and build trust within the community.
The Lewisham Park Towers project involves the installation of Soltherm External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems across three 18-storey blocks, alongside structural repairs, new aluminium windows and doors, and roof replacements. These enhancements will significantly improve energy efficiency while modernising the exteriors for a more sustainable future.
