This month we caught up with one of our southern based Site Managers, Boris Valkov.
Boris has been with us for 8 years this year. Starting out as a labourer, he made his way to Assistant Site Manager in 2020, before progressing to Site Manager following completion of his Site Manager training in 2021. Boris is an integral part of the Hamilton team and has worked on some of our major recent projects, including Fermain Court. We asked him our three famous questions so we could get to know him a little better…
What do you love the most about the job?
The team of people around I work with on site. I also have a great relationship with my sub-contractor operatives who generally stay with me from site to site.
What do you listen to on your commute?
Podcasts on Spotify usually – Joe Rogan, Huberman Lab etc…
What is your favourite work lunch?
Steak… every time!
