The UK Government has announced the latest funding allocations for Wave 3 of the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund, awarding financial support to 108 projects that aim to improve energy efficiency in social housing across the country.
This new funding round is an important step in the government’s ongoing efforts to tackle fuel poverty, reduce carbon emissions, and improve the quality of life for residents in social housing.
Key Highlights from Wave 3 of the Fund:
– A total of £800 million will be distributed across a variety of energy efficiency projects.
– The funding is aimed at Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and other social housing landlords to implement energy-saving measures like External Wall Insulation (EWI), which improves the thermal efficiency of buildings.
– The goal is to benefit over 23,000 homes, enhancing comfort and reducing energy costs for vulnerable residents.
Hamilton is proud to be part of this initiative, offering our expertise in EWI and other energy-efficient solutions. As a trusted partner for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, we are committed to helping deliver these projects, which will have a lasting positive impact on communities.
We look forward to supporting these initiatives as they roll out across the UK. For more information on the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund and the successful recipients of Wave 3, check out the full government announcement by clicking here.
